"I had never seen Carmen Suite in concert before. My wife and I traveled from Red Rocks to Moab, Utah to see the show. After over 60 miles of bumper to bumper traffic -we had just about had enough. We managed to hit 3 major traffic jams going over the Rocky Mountains only to arrive at Red Rocks about an hour before the show and just in time to hit the Sunday traffic returning to the City after the weekend.
By the time Carmen Suite walked on stage my wife and I were just about in the "not speaking mode." By the time the show ended we were in love once again.... thanks to a performance that had an astonishing range of styles, textures and color. Carmen Suite and his Large Band made it worth all the trouble.
We would endure all that BS and then some just to see Carmen and his band perform again. If you ever get the chance- go see Carmen and his Large Band. A Truly Great Performance."
